This 5.3 km long walking trail consists of a wooden boardwalk that stretches across the Tīrspurv to the almost century and a half old Lukna hornbeam grove. This is the only hornbeam grove in Latvia. Here, the trees have spread their branches to the height of a six-storey house. Both Tīrspurvs and the Luknas hornbeam grove are located in the Dunika Nature Reserve, and here you can enjoy both the unusual silence that always reigns in the bog and the unusual, primeval landscape – a bog with wells, lakes and islets.
